365 day 18

Drove thru' the old Hyde Park neighborhood on my lunch hour today, beautiful old homes.  Saw this sculpture from Harrison Parkway and stopped to see it.  Liked it, took a photo of it.  Don't know the name of it, couldn't find anything on it. I named it "Fatal Decision".  Here it is:
Forlorn, isn't it?

Wandering the City

"I'm gonna be standing on the corner, 12th Street and Vine, with my Kansas City baby and a bottle of Kansas City wine".
Couldn't decided which one to post today.  The 365 (366) rules (I am making them up as I go) only say you have to post a photo that you took that day, it doesn't say you can't post two!  In my wanderings (before the games came on), I took several that I like and I'm going to post a couple. Now the second one is cool in a weird sort of way.  "Descent of Civilization (Bison Memorial)"by Marc Swanson is a bronze sculpture of a buffalo skeleton. Pretty novel, having it in Quality Hill, where, I suppose, buffalo did roam back in the day.  Here's my favorite of the ones I shot:

Kinda menacing, isn't he.  Check back tomorrow, to see what I can come up with then.
